Hi there, Heather here – I’m the newbie at One Floor Up! I am so excited to join this amazing team. I hail from Boston and moved to Colorado a couple weeks ago. I’m a born and bred New England girl so please excuse me if I talk too fast, say ‘wicked’ a lot, and gesture with my hands when I talk.

I’m hopping on as OFU’s Associate Producer, working alongside the wonderful Rachel and Jon. I’ve worked on all sorts of productions prior to coming here. I started my career working for a hybrid music venue/recording studio where I met local bands and filmed their performances. From there, I transitioned into the documentary and museum world, producing animations, interactives, and linear media for the Strong Museum of Play in Rochester, NY and the Knock Knock Museum in Baton Rouge, LA, to name a couple. I also had the opportunity to work on Whitey: The Making of a Monster and Confessions of the Boston Strangler for Discovery ID. My last stop before OFU landed me on the advertising side, working for Hill Holliday in Boston where I produced social campaigns for Bank of America, Dunkin Donuts, and Planet Fitness. My career has taken me all over the place and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love the diversity of projects I’ve been able to work on and the different teams and companies I’ve worked with.

The first time I came to interview at OFU, I could tell this was where I wanted to be. When I first met Jon, Rachel, and Ryan, I could tell they were passionate about what they did and worked hard. I also loved the small production company vibe. Coming from an office of 550, I’m really looking forward to working closely with a core team of talented people. I know I’m going to fit right in and I can’t wait to get to know everyone better and tackle all sorts of projects with them.

Aside from work, I love adventuring. One of the reasons I moved my life out here was for those glorious Rocky Mountains. When not in the office, you’ll likely find me running the trails, hitting the slopes, or simply sitting outside drinking one of CO’s fine IPAs.
